Our loose cable system has been designed to be installed below most tile or stone floor coverings. It may also be installed below engineered wood/laminated or vinyl floor coverings providing the heating mat has been covered with a 10mm layer of flexible self- smoothing compound, any underlay used for engineered wood or laminate floor covering must be a suitable low tog underlay product compatible with underfloor heating.
